Layers! A Pop-up BarkShow
Layers! A show that I curated with Sophia Pipathsouk, explores the importance of materials, decision making and attention to detail in the production of artwork. This exhibition features work created by emerging Midwestern creative individuals composed on handmade paper provided by Fresh Press, an agri-fibre research lab based out of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Layers! demonstrates how the process of making is as important as the finish product. Featured artists include: Davon Goodlove, Jason Lupas, Siena Peterson, Eric Pryor, Alison Weust, Andi Wywiorski, Crystal Zapata. The exhibition reception was on February 27 from 5-8pm and ran through March 26, 2016.
